Valentine’s Day may be special for some people but for those who don’t have their soul mate, it’s just another day to do your daily chores.
Well, we singles have to accept that it’s the only day when we realize that we are single ha-ha… But it’s not a big issue for me until my best friend introduces me to his girlfriend.
Most of us are single because for us either relationship fails or because we don’t know how to propose a girl. Am I right?
So here are 14 simple things even singles can do to enjoy Valentine’s Day.
1. Hang out with other Single Friends
Hang out with friends is what we all crave for and Hanging out with friends who are single like you on Valentine’s Day is like a cherry on the cake!
Party as hard as you can. Break the dance floor with all you’ve got such that it will make the committed guys repent their decision of being into a relationship.
2. Solo Trip
No company is best other than your own. By spending some time alone, you will get to know yourself better. Moreover, you’ll find an answer to typical questions like where is your lifestyle leading you. How can you achieve your goals early and what do you actually want from your life?
Solo trips help you find the purpose of life which is way more productive than spending the time to celebrate Valentine’s Day with someone.
Enjoy the day the way you want and spend that money on anything you like (clothes, watches, shoes etc).
Spend money on yourself, get clothes or accessories for yourself and get a makeover to look the best of you. Develop an attitude so that the girls would fall for you. 🙂
4. Spend Some Time with Family
Valentine’s Day is about love whether it’s for your girl or your family. That includes parents as well as your siblings.
You can spend the whole day with your family. This will not only make them happy but also give them the surety that you are the same innocent boy you used to be.
Spending the whole day with them will make them feel special and they’ll surely brag about their obedient son to everyone.
5. Do some Charity
People celebrate Valentine’s Day with their loved ones and spend loads of money on trips, gifts, and romantic dates and in return, they expect romance love and pleasure.
But single people can also enjoy the same feelings of love by giving away some money or gifts to the poor and needy.
Charity work not only gives you love and inner peace but also brings blessings of the poor people.
6. Complete your pending work
We all have that list of work which we have to do when we are “absolutely free” like completing the novel, clearing our mail inbox, cleaning wardrobe (for boys) etc.
Complete all of them and the feeling which you’ll get after finishing them would make you forget the emotional pain of not having a life partner.
7. Talk to your Crush
If you have a crush on someone and both of you are single, then with a little bit of courage just go on and talk to your crush and try to make her feel special.
Because you just don’t know how badly she may want your company to spend the day. And if everything goes well then there are chances you won’t be reading this article the next year.
8. Read Books
Read the books which you always wanted to read. Some of them can help you in improving your Personality like “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie or “The Art of Happiness” by Howard C. Cutler.
Reading them will not only refresh you but you’ll get to know that there’s more than just being into a relationship.
9. Listen to Music
In my opinion, music is the best way to relax. Play on your favorite track and enjoy, as there is no point in regretting that you don’t have a soul mate. Wouldn’t you agree?
10. Watch Movies
You have the whole day to Watch movies like “Pumping Iron: Self-Belief And Assertion”, “The Social Network: Entitlement”, “Yes Man: Opportunity” at home or any latest movie in the theaters.
11. Spend the Day on Bed
This is one of the best things introvert people can do and it’s more enjoying than burning your precious body calories in other stuff. And if you get yourself a large pizza and a coke, then the pleasure in that is just unparallel. Am I right?
12. Develop a New Hobby
But if you are too serious to get a valentine, then join a gym or develop some interesting hobbies like singing or dancing which almost everyone likes!
13. Talk to Young Children
Love in its purest form is found amongst children. If you talk with them, then you’ll know how to enjoy the moment at its best because when you are with children, you don’t even know where the whole day went!
14. Get Yourself a Pet
A pet can easily turn you from sad to the happiest person in the world. Moreover, pets care more than any human being so you need to get a pet if you don’t have one!
